Very Fine Antique 18thCentury Chinese Blue & White Octagonal Export Plate
This beautifully shaped and extremely finely painted export plate measures 9-5/8″ in diameter.
An old sticker on the back indicates it was made for a Newport family around 1770 (1790?).
Hairline shown on back side is only very lightly visible from the front.
Two other extremely light, tight lines on the back are not visible on the front.
One small rim chip as seen.
Displays beautifully.
